If you find you're unable to type commands, and are receiving no messages from the game or chat or etc., here's what to do. Wait about five minutes. There's a timer running now which is supposed to log you out cleanly. You *should* see the applet reset itself to the logged-out state; and after that, you *should* be able to get back in.
