Player Pages

Welcome to the SmartMonsters online personal ads. ;-)

Your Player Home Page is a personalized space here on our site where you can explain a bit about yourself for the benefit of other players. Here's what you can do with it right now:

  • Show (or hide) your e-mail address.
  • Show (or hide) the names of your TriadCity characters.
  • Write a narrative of up to 500 words.
  • Provide a link to an online photo, on your own site, or a free site such as Yahoo Photos.
  • Create up to three lists of arbitrary stuff: favorite books. favorite movies, favorite TriadCity characters, TriadCity stuff for sale, etc. etc.

This is pretty much your space to do with as you like. We hope you have fun!

As with all things SmartMonsters, what's online today is an early iteration of what will grow up to be a far richer and more capable facility. Watch this space for updates.

And now the fine print:

As with all of your other contributions to our Web site, we own whatever you write. We can change it or delete it any time we feel like it, for any reason. And we can block you from access if you piss us off enough. So, don't. Thanks.

"Science fiction, like postmodernist fiction, is governed by the ontological dominant. Indeed, it is perhaps the ontological genre par excellence. We can think of science fiction as postmodernism's noncanonized or "low art" double, its sister-genre in the same sense that the popular detective thriller is modernist fiction's sister-genre."
--Brian McHale,
