TriadCity Message of the Day
2007-08-19

If you've noticed that it's been a while since our last code upload, you're, um, right.

The "dev server" -- the computer that we work and test with before transferring new stuff to the live site which you interact with -- is busted. Kaput, dead, deceased, no more. It's run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. It's an ex-parrot. We really haven't been able to get much done without it.

It's still busted. But, we've worked-out some ways to accomplish a few things without it. So, we'll be posting new game code within a couple of weeks. Or maybe three.

Keep your eye on the MOTD for announcements and suggestions. The next code revision which we'll post -- server version 0.77.0.0 -- is a major re-organization of the entire server code base. So, there'll be a lot to tell you about.

Meet you in the City soon!

His work, in other words, partakes of the archaeology of history, the superimposition of one layer of time upon another [...]"
