How to Play TriadCity

The TriadCity Players' Guide

Bureaucrat Role

TriadCity Bureaucrats, like their RL counterparts, are organizational functionaries here interpreted — also not unlike RL — as inherently officious and inefficient. This is not always fair, as, there are certain TriadCity Bureaucrats trying their darndest to do right by the people they theoretically serve. No matter. In TriadCity it's legal to kill them anyway.

Bureaucrats may be any alignment.

"[...] the adventure game adds an interesting case to the discussion of narratological concepts and posits an alternative structure of articulating events and existents, one that may help us see these objects more clearly divorced from their usual narrative surroundings than has so far been possible."
