I love SmartMonsters!
How can I help you grow as quickly as possible?
Well bless your heart for asking! In fact there are several fairly small things
you can do, which really help us a lot:
-
Refer a friend.
This does so much to help grow the game world that we'll even reward you
for doing it. Click
here
for details. We thank you kindly for spreading the word.
-
Click our sponsors' ads.
This is super because it makes them love us.
We really can't thank you enough!
-
Create a Player Page.
This is great for a bunch of reasons. It
contributes enormously to a vibrant sense of community among players; helps you make
online friends more quickly; helps the online community better understand you and your
reasons for participating; and at the same time shows our sponsors that you're out
there. Click here to get started. Many thanks!
-
Link to us.
That is, put links to the SmartMonsters home page on your site. This helps us
achieve higher rankings in certain search engines. And please tell your visitors
how much you love us! We'll link back to you if you ask us: see our
Links section for details.
-
Use our Web site.
Page views are critical to our future success
with advertisers. And, they're the main source of player info and lore about TriadCity and
our future games.
So please click around with total abandon. Our gratitude in advance.
-
Participate in our bulletin boards.
Another source of page views for us. But also a potentially
very helpful thing for new players. We especially appreciate it when you answer questions,
make suggestions, and generally contribute to our little community of interested persons.
These all go really far toward providing a larger and fuller player experience.
-
Write something about us on
slashdot.
Every time there's a posting about TriadCity on slashdot our traffic leaps and we gain
dozens of new players. It's one of the best places on the Web to get the word out. Naturally,
we appreciate it very much if you conform to slashdot's policies and cultural norms -- and if
you say good things about TC!
-
Buy books from our bookstore.
We make a small commission on everything you buy.
Actually if you buy as many books as we do, we'll make a small fortune. Meanwhile we'll
happily settle for
covering some portion of our hosting costs! These are really
good books, too. Much obliged indeed.
-
Take our surveys.
Over time we'll be presenting you with quite a number
of opportunities to be surveyed, re your experience with our games, and re you yourself. The
info you provide is critical to our ability to evolve our games in appropriate directions; and
to our ability to interest the right sponsors in supporting us. Way lotsa
thanks for taking a minute to provide complete and accurate answers!
-
Review us.
By reviewing TriadCity positively on your favorite game review site, you can
really help get the word out quickly. We're so keen on this helpful idea that
we've actually written-up a set of
guidelines for reviewers and posted
them on our site. As time permits, we'll add more suggested
sites for your gushing-about-us pleasure. Really can't thank you enough for your
help and enthusiasm.
-
Report bugs.
Sort of selfish of us not to list this first, yes?
We probably don't need to explain this one: the more burp-free your player experience,
the better. Much obliged!
-
Nominate us for awards.
Who? Us? Pshaw.... Here's a list of possibilities which, after sniffing
enough glue, we thought we might mention:
We realize it might take a few days before any of these awards come our way.
Selection committees have their bureaucratic thing they have to do. Meanwhile we're
incredibly happy to be nominated for
anything that might be appropriate. "Best Internet Site with a Dragon on it When
Visited Using the Hot Java Browser Between 9 and 11pm PST on the Night of a Full Moon"
-- stuff like that. Also, if any of these sites would simply link to us, that'd be cool too.
Naturally -- as all things TriadCity -- this list will
grow over time. Right now, just want to repeat how grateful we are to you for your help!
See you in the City!
