remember to always close the doors of your character houses and inn rooms. leave them open, anybody can enter, player or rpc. if you forget and leave them open, you're responsible for the loss of your stuff. don't forget!

Will my house (when I buy it) have internal locks and access control? I'd like to be able to leave my front door open for visitors, but keep my closets locked . . . those skeletons don't like the light.

Access control is on your front door only. You control the list of who's allowed to open the door. It would be interesting to be able to buy locks for internal doors, but that's not (yet) implemented.
