It seems that being observed utilizing the "Peek" skill in the view of crimenet or the authorities may land you on the Wanted list. This is unconfirmed but two different thieves have been "posterized" recently (one of them me), apparently due to this (new?) phenomenon. I repeat that this is unconfirmed at the present time.

Casual criminals consider yourslf warned.

Wow, isn't that a bit odd? We'd be offended if someone was caught peeking at us, but we certainly wouldn't consider it criminal. Maybe this should be on the Suggestion board?

Shadaa, Clan Tulloch Ranger is no more, an innocent peek at some of the guests attending the wedding in the Royal Gardens NOT EVEN in the presence of the authorities was enough to cast him as a villain to be killed on sight! Not justice just insanity.

Unless I'm very mistaken, peeking is not a crime. I think there must be some other issue?

It should be easy to check the wanted list using a library computer to see if anyone is really wanted for peeking or not. I don't think so.

That's correct, peeking does not get you placed on CrimeNet, even if you fail.

I don't want to sound rude, but I don't see how the authorities can justify that. What does peeking represent? an impolitely close peek over someone's shoulder? I really am not sure of the rationale behind this law. Also, as an aside to Cantray, the reason you were reported (I suspect) is that one or more of the guests were wearing a flashing blue L.E.D, which seems to be some sort of powerful anti-pickpocket device or some such. be cautious of those.

I'm not familiar with any legal code in which looking into someone's pocket is considered criminal. If nothing's been stolen, where's the harm?

I do have a personal bias in this matter.

Thats probably the case. Still seems a little harsh to be killed for the crime of "having a little look in someone's bag"
