I understand Karma as the stars, but there does not seem to be anything after Ranking. Are they supposed to be the same thing?

I think that Karma relates to people, while Ranking relates to topics. Ranking, I think, is set when you use the "Rate" control at bottom right of the first post in the topic. Don't understand yet how Karma is determined.

Will look into it, and figure out what's up with that borked display.

I tried to mess with ranking. or i thought i was.

I rated a few of your posts, Mark to (5) to see if it would show up on your profile. Or what they did at all really. All it did was make the 5 stars in the upper right of the post turn yellow. (rank 5 for 5 stars, since no one else has submitted a rank all stars turn yellow, i get that)

There is no way that i can see how many people placed a ranking on the particular post. Not to my knowledge anyway.

My question is do we need this on every post? Does this affect anything else?
