PG&E, the electricity provider in California, tells us that they're shutting off power to my town sometime in the next 2-4 hours 'cos high winds present wildfire risk. That seems a bit apocalyptic, but, there we are. We've been warned we could be without power for as long as five days depending on the weather.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to be online during this time. Assuming cars are allowed out my intent will be to spend daylight in Santa Cruz or Monterey, working away on TriadCity while the baristas wonder WTF I'm doing so intently for hours on end. But, I dunno.

There's a *lot* of very rapid development right now.I hope this interruption is short and I'll be able to rejoin you soon.

That seriously sucked.
