With a level 18 Thief:

There's no CrimeNet.

There are 3 Guards in each arm of the spiral. They attack but aren't dangerous. I went up several arms, they attacked, I beat them. If a group raids a villa, a strategy might be to post a tank outside to kill any who wonder by. The guards wear metal armor which can be donated for noobs. My align was max Good and I saw no drift.

Villas at the beginning are cakewalks. Two dudes at level 1: at level 18 they're not really worth the time. They have 10 dinars each, so lower-level chars could grind to make gear bucks. I drifted Evil.

I get the challenge here. You climb the spiral as the houses get bigger and the NPCs badder. Your personal challenge is to go as high as you can without getting killed. Different for everybody since we all have different degrees of fighting skill.

The MOTD is right, this isn't complete. Missing nouns. Insides of houses pretty generic and there are no treasures yet. But you can see where this is going. When you get to 40 rooms with 40 servants of level 40, you'll need a group, and the villa will contain objects you'll have to locate or loot.

One idea might be to have your magical types astral project to scope the layout, find the treasures. Then the team can go in. Maybe with astral Healers to help, and astral Malopaths to wear down the NPCs. That'll be a fun play.

Needs work but it'll be pretty awesome when done.

It's amazing this is all generated on the fly!

The guards will swarm, so you could be fighting 3 at once. My Thief doesn't have that much energy, so that could be an issue.

They flee easily so it takes work to hunt them down if you want their gear. They carry dinars which I'm guessing match their levels.

There are no ATMs anywhere in this part of the Third. I guess the closest would be the Mall. This is actually a roadblock for Thieves, whose dexterity drops as they carry more weight. We'll have to think about how to manage this.

The closest ATM is actually in Capitoline, just three steps in from Porta Pandana in the temple of Dhanapati. Obviously, this IS the area where someone may pick your pockets before you make it to the ATM (but they usually steal in small increments).

This isn't very far developed but it's really going to rock when it grows up.

I've enjoyed it too. It seems pretty unfinished, like, many planned details not ready. I think it'll become the major grinding zone for mid-level chars.
