TriadCity Message of the Day
2020-05-12

The geographical heart of the NorthWestern Third's participatory democracy is online. The Hill of the Pnyx, modeled extremely loosely on the Athenian original, is just west of the intersection of White River Esplanade with Ulitsa L.D. Bronstein. Take the Red Line train to Observatory Station; or have a leisurely walk down the riverbank. Bring a picnic.

While the geography's ready, Assembly Days are not yet implemented. These are the times when the entire Third shuts down while all citizens assemble on the Pnyx to debate and decide issues of the day. These can be anything from local ordinances to master strategies for ending slavery in NorthEast. We're greatly looking forward to these — although not necessarily to the enormous volume of work they'll require. 🙃

Enjoy your picnic. 😊

Stay safe out there! Meet you in the city!
