Many Pet-related enhancements and bug fixes are in process, with extra many thanks to our great friend Kata for leading the testing.

Pets are a bit tricky for us to get just right code-wise, because they're the only entities in the SmartMonsters code universe which can change their names. This has geek-level implications for the database and for many commands, such as Followers, Group, Ungroup, and the like.

There are also changes necessary to how Mobiles are allowed to move, and to where they're allowed to go. Granted these aren't ordinary Mobiles but are more like extensions of Players, they need to be able to go to places where usually only Players are allowed.

Thanks to Kata's diligence we're getting all of this under necessary control. Where the beneficiaries will be all the future generations of virtual pet lovers around the world. That sounded very grand — we enjoyed typing it.
