The Mount of Martyrs is open for exploration.
Based on Belle Époque Montmartre, "The Mount" brings together cabarets, artists, anarchists, criminals, cops, billboards, dynamite, dilettantes, middle class thrill seekers, aristocrats, students, clueless tourists and more, in a context where the memory and meaning of the past is being contested while at the same moment much of modernity is under construction. It's a playground for higher-level Thieves, Vampires, Vampire Hunters, Blood Hounds, Bounty Hunters, Explorers, Reporters and others: perhaps the most complexly realized TriadCity Zone to date.
Part of the fun, for our world authors at least, is The Mount's wealth of real historical characters implemented lovingly as TriadCity NPCs — around 150 altogether. These include La Goulue, Aristide Bruant, Erik Satie, Paule Minck, Jane Avril, La Macarona, Paul Verlaine, The Prince of Wales, and many many more.
To reach The Mount, take the Purple Line train to Mount of Martyrs station. Go north through Place Toulouse-Lautrec to the funicular; ride the funicular up the hill.
There are about 200 Rooms there — mostly highly detailed, often changing throughout the hours. We recommend exploring thoroughly.
