fyi, the first areas where you can post graffiti are the 'wisdom boards' inside the labryinth.

there are four there now; as they fill up more will be added.

i think that posting graffiti like these will turn out to be a rewarding occupation for those looking to pick up dinars as well as contribute to the city.

here's how vote totals work. the number you see to the right of the voting buttons is a cumulative sum of all the positive and negative votes cast. Ten keep votes and nine junk votes results in +1.

Most of the time a score of +10 is required for a graffito to become permanent, and -10 is required for it to be deleted. The world author who added that particular graffiti surface to the world can set a different value, but, probably won't.

the purpose behind using this form of cumulative total is to try to ensure consensus among participants. significantly more people need to approve than disapprove for a graffito to be made permanent.

note that you can use html in your graffiti.

to display paragraphs, separate them with <BR><BR> (or code them properly with <P> and </P>, but the other is simpler).

i'm guessing that you could decorate your graffiti with all the usual html tricks including color, bold, italic, and etc. i'm also guessing that if you do, people will vote against them. there's a difference between a graffito and an eyesore.

These are great! I encourage all of you to get to the wisdom boards and compress a month's philosophical texts into a brief visit to the labyrinth. Why not add an equivalent in the south and perhaps the NE as well, Pooh?

Okay, so there IS an equivalent in the NE. Think you're pretty clever, eh, Pooh? I'll get you yet... probably.

they're also in all the train stations. eventually they'll be all over the place.

btw if any of you are visual artists who would like to contribute sculptures or other works of art, something similar to the graffiti boards could be arranged for you.
