I'm a big fan of meatpuppetry, but since it's impossible to communicate while you're under, it can get awkward when people try to chat with you and you're unable to respond.

How about if a little <MP> appeared next to a chartacter's title (similar to a game Warden's <AFK>

, indicating that they are currently a meatpuppet and can't reply?

The <MP> would remain until their meatpuppet shift was over.

I'll be happy to implement this if there's enthusiasm for it. Just want to make sure it's cool with y'all to display meatpuppet status - meatpuppetry being kindof a private thing. Please respond to this post letting me know what you think!

I would love to see it. I'd also like to be able to use some of the meatpuppets for my...experiments. Only things I could undo before they wake up, of course. Wouldn't want anyone figuring out and stealing my data. <maniac laughter>

It would be nice to be able to let people know, so they didn't think I was ignoring them when I don't respond. Maybe it could be optional? For example, maybe there could be a command to toggle it on and off like there is for AFK?

Word spreads fast in a city. I bet it goes even faster in the NE. You may think its a private matter, to be apart of the meat-puppet ring. However, in reality, everyone and their grandma knows you do it. They may just not say anything to your face. You must have noticed the faces they make, when you walk walk around the city. You are only fooling yourself.
