I heard recently that someone got in big trouble due to being seen using illegal skills even though they thought they were in non-monitored place.

It would be very useful if there were a skill, perhaps thief-specific, to detect whether Crimenet is monitoring the current location - perhaps "assess", based on wisdom or intelligence, requiring the "see" skill, or some such.

Just a suggestion, because it's extremely important that people be able to tell unambiguously whether or not they are facing criminal charges at any given time.

If Thieves are willing to work together for their fellow man. They are more than welcome to post their experiences in the Lore board. While this is not a skill, and may not always be reliable. (seeing that its thieves making posts to warn other thieves) It has the possibility to help more people for less. Hopefully.

Doing something wrong should not be rewarded. But, if you insist, you can at least warn other people of your mistakes.
