Getting started in TriadCity, including the advice in the Players' Guide, is very much about not using violence. There's good reason: violence too soon will get your character permanently killed. Suppose we enable an alternate "getting started path" specifically for those whose intentions are to become Warriors - or who simply enjoy blowing shit up?
My thought would be that our friends the Crystal Canyon Corporation would develop special Getting Started Sagas for levels 1 - 9.
With our new ability to implement multiple Worlds with their own laws of physics, the Sagas would be their own mini-Worlds. Death would not be permanent there. We'd do it like Midgaard: if you die there, you lose 50% of your exp and are reincarnated naked at the Origin Stone.
Above level 9 you won't be allowed in.
They'd all be small, say, 20 Rooms. With some puzzles to solve, a bunch of gnarly low-level critters to massacre, and exp to be gained. I'll post some (silly) ideas as replies.
What do you think?
If we decide to do it, would you like to participate in designing the Worlds?

World #1: The Traditional Medieval Slashfest
Something like the Newbie Zone in Midgaard. Probably underground. A few mobiles wandering the halls, plus some stationary types inside the Rooms you discover. A ground floor level and some basements or dungeons. Baby dragons. Creepy Crawlers. Stuff to kill.

World #2: Ancient Rome
The Forum! Gladiator battles. As a Thief you wander the crowd picking pockets. As a Warrior at levels 5 - 9 you can sign up for a turn in the Games, either 1-on-1 against an opponent adapted to your capabilities like certain other Sagas, or as a member of a team of gladiators. The Emperor will be there watching from his booth, and, this being TriadCity, if you kill him you gain an immediate level.
(Something very similar to this is actually planned for the NorthEastern Third, including the only situation where Player-versus-Player fighting is allowed. This would be less advanced and perhaps more silly.)

World #3: Al Capone
Gangsters, molls, pinstripe suits, tommy guns. Illegal booze, illegal gambling. An underground speakeasy: first you must discover the password, then the secret doorway. Then the trouble begins.
