Our games are blind-friendly, literary, and innovative. We've taken a gaming tradition with a retro pedigree — MUDs, MUSHs, MOOs, text adventures and interactive fictions — and pushed it to levels of sophistication far beyond the genre.

Our Founders:

Mark Phillips, CEO

is a veteran Silicon Valley executive and consultant with 30 years' experience starting up and turning around technology companies. He's also a widely-published author of computer-mediated and other experimental narrative, whose work is highly regarded by the five or six people in the world who care about computer-mediated and other experimental narrative. His writing appears in literary journals around the world.

Gary Smith, CEO Emeritus

has been writing role-playing games longer than most of us have been... well anyway for a long time. He's the guy who ported Zork from MDL to C on the PDP, which is kind of poetic if you think about it. Gary has 35 years' experience in the technology industry as an organization builder and senior manager.
