USE:

1. Use Up to leave the room you're currently in, and enter the one above you.
2. Use form two if you enjoy typing.

Many conditions which may prevent you from moving as you desire. For instance, there could be no room in this direction; or there could be a closed door in the way. More ominously, someone could prevent you. The Game channel will inform you of the outcome of your command.

Note that U is equivalent to "move up" You can use the longer equivalent if you like, but "u" is shorter.
