How to Play TriadCity
The TriadCity Players' Guide

Etiquette: reward Builders

TriadCity's Builders are the architects who design the world we interact in. They're responsible for the physical attributes of the City, and to an extent its moral and spiritual attributes as well.

Builders have few special skills and almost no special privileges. They aren't "immortals". They're characters like any other, with a special focus on adding new things to the world.

Builders grow their characters via experience and Dinars awarded to them by other players. Without these rewards, they have no way to advance -- and no incentive to build. Thus your rewards are an important way in which you participate in the growth of the City.

If you feel that a Builder has done a good job on some particular area of the City, please use the Reward command to thank them.

"... postmodernist fiction also reflects the disruption of [the] landscape by twentieth-century war. War in our century has forced us to rethink the received categories of space, conceptual as well as geographical space; it has taught us to think in terms of zone. The lexicon of war is one of the sources of the term "zone," and certainly the postmodernists have borrowed many of the characteristics of their zone from the zones of military discourse - the war zone, the occupied zone, the demilitarized zone."
