How to Play TriadCity
The TriadCity Players' Guide

Etiquette: reward Cartographers

Cartographers draw maps for the TriadCity Players' Guide.

Cartographers have few special skills and almost no special privileges. They contribute to the growth of the City and its culture by contributing their drafting talent, and their instinct for exploration.

Cartographers grow their characters via experience and Dinars awarded to them by other players. Without these rewards, they have no way to advance -- and no incentive to map. Thus your rewards are an important way in which you participate in the culture of the City.

If you feel that a Cartographer has drawn a good or helpful map, please submit a reward for them via the form you'll find on the left column of each map. (You must be logged in to do this.)

"The fantastic genre ... involves a confrontation between two worlds whose basic physical norms are mutually incompatible. A miracle is "Another world's intrusion into this one," according to a character in Pynchon's The Crying of Lot 49, and it is precisely the miraculous in this sense of the term that constitutes the ontological structure of the fantastic genre."
