Moving requires energy. If you do move successfully, you'll probably see your supply of available energy become diminished by some quantity. How much depends on where you're moving to; how much weight you're carrying; and other factors. Climbing a mountain carrying 200 pounds will require more energy than walking down a city street empty handed.
Note that Down is equivalent to "move down" You can use the longer equivalent if you like, but "down" (or just "d") is shorter.
In fact, because the command is enabled for "natural language" parsing, you can use all kinds of variations and still be understood. "Move down", "walk down", "go down", "walk to the down", "down", "d", and many others will all do fine.
